One user wants booking, dispatch, estimates, invoices, price book, job costing, financing, and reviews in one plan.
Pricing guide
Convert the monthly headline into a complete budget, then decide whether the included tools solve enough real work to earn the price.
Quick answer
Basic includes one user and costs $59 per month when billed annually, or $708 for the year. Monthly billing is $79, or $948 across 12 payments. The $240 annual difference buys flexibility, which can be valuable while you verify the workflow.

Housecall Pro says annual and monthly options are available and applicable sales tax is extra. MAX pricing and availability can change; request the current terms directly if you are evaluating that tier.
Plan-by-plan analysis
Housecall Pro lists online booking, scheduling and dispatching, estimates and invoicing, customer payments and financing, a price book, job costing, and review management in Basic. That combination is the plan's strongest argument: a solo owner can keep the customer, appointment, estimate, invoice, payment status, and review request connected.
That does not mean every solo business needs it. If most work comes from repeat customers and your present calendar and invoicing process is reliable, a lower-cost product may be enough. Basic becomes easier to justify when missed follow-ups, inconsistent pricing, slow invoices, or scattered customer information are already creating measurable work.
Essentials includes five users and adds route sequencing, flat-rate pricing, automated checklists, photo reports and annotations, employee GPS tracking, commission management, and QuickBooks Online synchronization. The annual-billing subscription is $1,788, the same published annual base price as Jobber Connect for five users.
A one-person business should not upgrade merely because the extra tools sound useful. The price is easier to defend when employees need logins, field documentation affects callbacks or disputes, routing has become a daily problem, or bookkeeping synchronization will replace meaningful manual work.
Housecall Pro positions MAX for scaling businesses and lists tools such as recurring service plans, route optimization, open API access, a sales-proposal tool, dedicated onboarding, and escalated support. Because plan terms can change and the public presentation may include promotions, request the current standard price and complete add-on list in writing.
A solo owner needs an unusually specific requirement to justify a scaling tier. Start from a documented business problem, not the feature demonstration, and calculate the yearly difference before accepting a longer billing commitment.
The subscription is not always the complete cost. Housecall Pro currently advertises card processing as low as 2.59% and a 1% fee for bank payments. “As low as” is not a quote for your account. Ask for the exact processing rate, sales tax, optional product prices, promotion expiration date, and billing term.
Apply payment costs only to revenue you expect to collect through Housecall Pro. If many customers pay by check or another method, multiplying the rate by total company revenue will overstate the expense.
One user wants booking, dispatch, estimates, invoices, price book, job costing, financing, and reviews in one plan.
Up to five users need routes, photo documentation, GPS, commissions, checklists, or QuickBooks Online sync.
You only need a simple quote-to-payment workflow and the higher entry price would not remove meaningful work.
